The Nissan Sunny, also known as the Nissan Sanī in Japan, was a popular automobile manufactured by Nissan from 1966 to 2004. Originally branded as Datsun, the name changed to Nissan in the early 1980s in alignment with the company's other models. While production of the Sunny ceased in Japan in 2004, the name continued to be used in China and GCC countries for a rebranded version of the Nissan Almera.
