The Nissan Sunny, also known as the Nissan Sentra in North America and Nissan Tsuru in Mexico, is a popular automobile manufactured by Japanese automaker Nissan from 1966 to 2004. Originally introduced under the Datsun brand, the transition to Nissan branding occurred in the early 1980s to align with the company's global naming conventions. Although Japanese production of the Sunny ceased in 2004, the name continues to be used in China and GCC countries for a rebranded version of the Nissan Almera.
