Opel Frontera B

1998 – 2004

The Opel Frontera, known as the Vauxhall Frontera in the UK, is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Opel, set for release in 2024. It serves as a replacement for the Opel/Vauxhall Crossland and is a sibling model to the second-generation Citroën C3 Aircross. The vehicle will be offered in both petrol mild hybrid and battery electric variants. The Frontera borrows its name from a previous SUV model developed by Isuzu and assembled in Luton, UK from 1991 to 2004. Key Points: 1. Name and Heritage: The Opel Frontera inherits its name from a previous Isuzu-built SUV model that was in production from 1991 to 2004 in the UK. 2. Subcompact Crossover SUV: The Frontera belongs to the B-segment category and is positioned as a subcompact crossover SUV in Opel's lineup. 3. Trim Levels: Opel has simplified the trim structure for the Frontera, offering two main levels—Frontera and Frontera GS, with the option to select from two available packages for each trim. 4. Powertrain Options: The Frontera will be available with a choice of a petrol mild hybrid powertrain or an all-electric battery option, catering to different customer preferences and environmental concerns. 5. Relationship with Citroën C3 Aircross: The Opel Frontera
