The sixth generation of the Ford Taurus, introduced in 2010, marked the final installment of the model range, excluding markets in China and the Middle East. This generation was the second iteration of the Taurus as a full-size car, boasting the title of the heaviest sedan in the Ford lineup globally. Despite similarities in chassis with the prior generation, the sixth-generation Taurus was the first to adopt Ford's Kinetic Design language in North America, giving it a more modern aesthetic.
