The Dodge Colt, a subcompact car under the Mitsubishi Motors brand but marketed by Dodge, was produced from 1971 to 1994 as captive imports. It shared a platform with the Mitsubishi Galant and Lancer families initially before transitioning to the smaller Mitsubishi Mirage subcompacts in 1979. The Plymouth Champ and Plymouth Colt were rebadged versions of the Dodge Colt, marketed by Plymouth.
