The Plymouth Gran Fury, a full-sized automobile, was produced by Plymouth from 1975 to 1989. The car's nameplate underwent downsizings in 1980 and 1982, shifting from intermediate to compact classes, all featuring conventional rear-wheel drive layouts. By December 1988, when Chrysler ceased M-body production (for the 1989 model year), the Plymouth Gran Fury was one of Chrysler's last rear-wheel drive cars.
