Plymouth Voyager 1st Gen

1984 – 1990 · USA

The Plymouth Voyager is a van that was offered by the Plymouth division of Chrysler. Initially introduced as a full-size van between 1974 and 1983, the Voyager was sold alongside the Dodge Sportsman, later known as the Dodge Ram Wagon. In 1984, the Voyager transitioned into one of Chrysler's new minivans, alongside the Dodge Caravan. This shift marked the beginning of the Voyager's tenure as a popular minivan. Between 1984 and 2000, three generations of the Voyager were released, solidifying its position as a reliable and versatile family vehicle. However, following the discontinuation of the Plymouth division in 2000, the Voyager was rebadged and marketed under the Chrysler brand as a more budget-friendly version of the Chrysler Town & Country until 2003. Key Points: 1. The Plymouth Voyager was initially a full-size van from 1974 to 1983 before transitioning into a minivan from 1984 onwards. 2. The Voyager was part of Chrysler's lineup of minivans, including the Dodge Caravan, and became a popular choice for families. 3. Three generations of the Voyager were produced between 1984 and 2000. 4. After Plymouth's closure in 2000, the Voyager continued to be sold under the Chrysler brand until 2003 as a more affordable option compared to the Chrysler Town & Country. 5. The Plymouth Voyager's legacy lives on as a symbol of Chrysler's success
