The Pontiac Parisienne was a full-size rear-wheel-drive vehicle produced by Pontiac on the GM B platform from 1958 to 1986 in Canada and from 1983 to 1986 in the United States. It was also assembled as a right-hand drive model in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa until 1969. The Canadian version of the Parisienne closely resembled the American Chevrolet Impala or Chevrolet Caprice in terms of mechanics throughout most of its production. The Parisienne was a popular choice and featured a spacious interior with a comfortable ride quality typical of full-size vehicles of the time.
