The Reliant Scimitar was a line of sports car models produced by British car manufacturer Reliant between 1964 and 1986. Over its 22 years in production, the Scimitar underwent several transformations, starting as a coupe known as the GT before evolving into a sports estate model called the GTE. In 1980, a convertible variant known as the GTC was added to the lineup. All models in the Reliant Scimitar series featured a fibreglass body mounted on a steel box-section chassis, providing a lightweight yet durable construction.
