Renault 10

1965 – 1971

The Renault 10 was a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive small family car manufactured by Renault from 1965 to 1971. It was designed as a larger and more upscale version of the Renault 8. Launched in 1965, the Renault 10 was known as the Renault 10 Major or Renault 1100 in certain markets. The rear-engine layout and rear-wheel drive setup were unique features of this model. In 1971, the Renault 10 was succeeded by the front-wheel drive Renault 12, which was produced simultaneously for two years before phasing out the Renault 10 completely. The Renault 10 was also built in Bulgaria until 1970 under the name Bulgarrenault and in Spain. Overall
