The Renault Scénic, known for its compact versatility, was the first small multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) to be introduced in Europe by the French car manufacturer Renault. Initially launched in 1996, the Scénic quickly garnered attention and acclaim, winning the prestigious title of European Car of the Year in 1997. Based on the chassis of the Renault Mégane, a small family car, the Scénic offered ample space, practicality, and a smooth driving experience. In May 2022, Renault made the decision to discontinue the standard Scénic model, with the Grand Scénic variant following suit shortly after. However, Renault announced plans to revitalize the Scénic lineup by reintroducing it as the Renault Scénic E-Tech in 2024. This revamped version will be fully electric, aligning with the automotive industry's shift towards sustainability. The Renault Scénic E-Tech is set to be the production version of the Renault Scénic Vision concept that was unveiled in 2022. The production model is scheduled to make its debut at the 2023 Munich Motor Show on September 4, showcasing Renault's commitment to embracing electric mobility and cutting-edge technology.
