Roborace

Roborace stands at the forefront of automotive innovation, redefining motorsport through the lens of cutting-edge autonomous technology. Founded with a vision to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence and robotics, Roborace is the first competition in the world to feature driverless electric cars, showcasing the future of the automotive industry. The origins of Roborace date back to its announcement in 2015, a collaborative venture born from the minds of its founders, including visionary entrepreneur Denis Sverdlov. The series was designed to serve as a competitive platform for autonomous technology, integrated into equally powered electric vehicles, ensuring that the focus remained squarely on software ingenuity. Roborace made headlines with its original vehicle, the DevBot, which allowed teams to develop their software using a car equipped with a cockpit if desired. However, the true icon of Roborace is the Robocar, designed by the renowned automotive designer Daniel Simon, known for his work in Hollywood. This vehicle epitomizes the fusion of high-tech prowess and aesthetic precision. Today, Roborace continues to captivate and challenge perceptions, achieving notable successes in its field. It has effectively utilized competitions not only to showcase AI capabilities but also to accelerate advancements in autonomous vehicle technologies. As it progresses, Roborace remains a testament to the potential of AI-driven sustainability and efficiency in motorsport, continuously expanding the boundaries of what is possible on the racetrack.
