The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph was a luxurious large automobile manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motors between 1998 and 2002. It made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1998, succeeding the Silver Spirit that ceased production in 1997. The production of the Silver Seraph came to an end when the rights to use the Rolls-Royce brand were acquired by BMW and a new entity, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, started producing a different line of vehicles. The development of the Silver Seraph commenced in the late 1980s, with the design process beginning in October 1990. The conceptual design was finalized by April 1991 and received approval from management in June 1991.
