Rolls-Royce Phantom VII

The Rolls-Royce Phantom VII, produced from 2003 to 2016, marked a significant turning point for the marque as the first Phantom developed under BMW Group ownership, reviving a name that had been dormant since the Phantom VI ended production in 1991. Built on an aluminum spaceframe chassis, it was powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, and the body was hand-assembled at the purpose-built Goodwood factory in West Sussex, England. The generation ran across two series, with the Series II arriving around 2012 bringing updated styling and technology while retaining the fundamental architecture. As with all Phantoms, extensive bespoke customization was central to the ownership experience, with buyers able to specify unique materials, colors, and fittings through Rolls-Royce's coachline division.
