Russo-Balt, a trailblazer in Russian automotive history, first emerged from the Russo-Baltic Wagon Factory founded in 1869. Originally focused on carriage production, the factory expanded into automobiles with the launch of its first car in 1909. Russo-Balt vehicles gained fame for their robust performance and elegance, capturing the attention of Europe's motoring community by participating in and winning prestigious competitions.
