Saker

Saker Cars, a name that resonates with speed, endurance, and racing excellence, has carved its niche in the motorsport world with its high-performance race cars. Founded in the late 1980s in New Zealand by Bruce Turnbull, Saker's journey began with a passion for creating cars that could dominate on the track. The brand was named after the formidable Saker Falcon, known for its incredible speed and agility, mirroring the characteristics Saker sought for its vehicles. The original Saker vehicle set the stage for a series of innovative racing models designed to offer both thrilling performance and reliability. Constructed with lightweight materials and featuring turbocharged engines, these cars were built to handle the grueling demands of endurance racing. Today, Saker continues to impress the racing community with its dedication to engineering excellence and performance. Although it operates on a more boutique scale compared to mainstream manufacturers, Saker's influence in the world of sports car racing remains significant. The brand's commitment to enhancing and refining their designs ensures they remain competitive, frequently making notable appearances in various GT and endurance racing events, celebrating successes that echo the vision of its founders. This enduring legacy is not just about maintaining pace but setting new benchmarks in the racing domain.
