South East (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd., known as Soueast, is a Chinese car manufacturer located in Fuzhou, Fujian. It was established as a joint venture between China Motor Corporation (25%), Fujian Motor Industry Group (50%), and Mitsubishi Motors (25%). The company specializes in designing, developing, manufacturing, and selling passenger cars and minibuses under the Soueast brand. Initially, Soueast also produced Mitsubishi-branded vehicles for the Chinese market. By early 2011, Soueast had an annual production capacity of about 180,000 units.
