Squire

Squire Car Manufacturing Company, established in the early 1930s, was a brainchild of Adrian Squire, an ambitious young engineer with a vision to create a sophisticated and high-performance sports car. Despite his youth, Squire's profound passion for automotive design and engineering led to the creation of the Squire Car, a vehicle that integrated advanced features such as a supercharged engine and a sophisticated chassis design, which were revolutionary at the time. Originally based in Henley-on-Thames, England, Squire produced cars that were not only ahead of their time in terms of technology but also exemplified exceptional craftsmanship and luxury. The inaugural model, the Squire 1½ Litre, was introduced in 1935 and became renowned for its elegance, power, and exceptional handling capabilities. However, the high cost of production and the onset of economic difficulties led to the brand's short-lived existence, culminating in a production of only a handful of cars before the company ceased operations in 1936. Despite its brief history, Squire's legacy endures in the world of classic sports cars, admired for its visionary engineering and the rarity of its creations. Today, Squire cars are celebrated as collector's items, embodying the spirit of innovation and luxury that defined the brand's ambitious undertakings.
