The Suzuki MR Wagon is a 4-seater kei car designed for the Japanese market that has been in production since 2001. It is also marketed in Japan by Nissan as the Nissan Moco under an OEM agreement. The model is currently in its third generation since 2011. In addition, the first generation of the MR Wagon was sold in India by Maruti Suzuki as the Maruti Zen Estilo and later renamed as Maruti Estilo. The MR in MR Wagon stands for "Magical Relax," despite not having a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout as the name might suggest. The model made its debut in 2001 and has since continued to evolve through different generations. The first generation of the Suzuki MR Wagon featured Suzuki's K6A kei car engine, available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions producing 54 PS (40 kW). Customers could choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options. The model was showcased at the 33rd Tokyo Motor Show in 1999 before being officially released on December 4, 2001.
