Thunder Power

Thunder Power, a Taiwanese electric vehicle manufacturer, emerged in 2011 with a vision to redefine luxury and performance in the eco-conscious automotive sector. Founded by Wellen Shen and now based in Hong Kong, Thunder Power has expanded its manufacturing footprint with facilities in Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Ganzhou City in China, and Catalonia in Spain. The company made a bold entry into the automotive world with its first production vehicle, the Thunder Power EV, also known as the TP. This car was designed by the Italian firm Dallara, featuring a 125 kWh battery and a top charging speed capability, making it a notable debut in the electric vehicle space. The TP was introduced in a limited edition run, producing only 488 units, which showcased the company's commitment to exclusive, high-performance EVs. Currently, Thunder Power continues to innovate and expand its product line. They have introduced the Chloe, a compact electric hatchback designed for urban environments, which represents a more accessible segment of their product offerings. As the industry evolves, Thunder Power remains focused on advancing its technology and reducing costs to inspire and enable future innovations in electric mobility
