The Toyota Aygo, a compact city car belonging to the A-segment, was introduced by Toyota in 2005 and marketed primarily in the European market until 2022, spanning two generations. First unveiled at the 2005 Geneva International Motor Show, the Aygo was manufactured in collaboration with Citroën and Peugeot at the TPCA joint venture in Kolín, Czech Republic. Production of the Aygo ceased in 2021, paving the way for the Aygo X, a crossover-style successor. The name "Aygo" is derived from "i-go," signifying the essence of freedom and mobility.
