The Toyota Camry Solara, also known simply as the Toyota Solara, is a mid-size coupé/convertible manufactured by Toyota. It is based on the Toyota Camry and was designed to replace the discontinued Camry Coupé (XV10). In 2003, Toyota launched the second-generation Camry Solara, starting with the coupe model for the 2004 model year. The convertible version of the second generation was introduced in the spring of 2004 as a 2005 model.
