The Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV designed primarily for the North American market and has been in production since the 2001 model year. It is based on the Tundra pickup truck and is the second-largest SUV ever produced by Toyota, following the Japan-exclusive Mega Cruiser. Initially manufactured at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana and later at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas, the Sequoia has been a significant player in the popular mainstream full-sized SUV class in North America.
