Troller

Troller, an iconic name in the Brazilian automotive industry, was founded in 1995 by Rogério Farias. The brand quickly gained recognition for its rugged, off-road vehicles, adept at navigating the diverse and challenging Brazilian landscapes. Troller's first notable model, the T4, debuted in 1997 and became synonymous with durability and adventure, embodying a design optimized for the rigors of off-roading. Throughout its history, Troller carved out a niche in producing 4x4 vehicles that could withstand extreme conditions, attracting a loyal following among off-road enthusiasts. The T4, in particular, showcased a fiberglass body and a robust chassis, features that underlined the brand’s commitment to combining practicality with performance in unforgiving terrains. In 2007, Ford Motor Company acquired Troller, a move that was seen as a testament to the brand's success and engineering prowess. Under Ford's stewardship, Troller continued to innovate and expand its product line. However, the brand faced challenges in recent years. Despite a strong market presence and dedicated fanbase, production of Troller vehicles ceased in 2021 as part of Ford’s broader strategy to optimize its global operations. This closure marked the end of an era for a brand that had become a hallmark of Brazilian automotive ingenuity and resilience.
