The TVR 390SE was the flagship of TVR's wedge-shaped "SE" range, hand-built in Blackpool, England between 1984 and 1989. Developed with Rover tuning specialist Andy Rouse, its Rover-derived V8 was enlarged to 3.9 litres with high-lift camshafts and gas-flowed cylinder heads, producing a claimed 275 bhp. With a lightweight fibreglass body over a tubular steel spaceframe and a kerb weight of just 1,150 kg, it sprinted 0-60 mph in around 5.6 seconds and topped out near 144 mph (232 km/h) — blistering figures for the mid-1980s. Not many were made: only around 100 (roughly 103 in total) left the factory across its entire production run, making the 390SE one of TVR's rarest and most collectible models — believed to number just a handful of examples in Australia.

I had know idea what type of TVR this was as I have never seen it before. Probably because there are only 1-3 in Australia and only 100-103 ever made. Pretty cool. Getting no love from people. #rare #british
