Vauxhall Zafira

1999 – 2016 · Great Britain

The Opel Zafira, produced by Opel over three generations from 1999 to 2019, was designed as a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) based on the Opel Astra platform. This model was marketed under various brands in different regions, such as Vauxhall in the UK until 2018 and Holden in Australia until 2005, among others. The name "Zafira" is rooted in its Arabic origin, signifying "to succeed." In 2011, an updated version was introduced alongside the original model, known as the Zafira Tourer. As an MPV, the Opel Zafira offered practicality and versatility for families and those needing ample space for passengers and cargo.
