The Volkswagen Phaeton (Typ 3D) is a luxury full-size sedan/saloon manufactured by Volkswagen, positioned as their top-tier "premium class" vehicle. Launched at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the Phaeton was globally available but saw its North American sales cease in 2006, followed by a global discontinuation in 2016.
