The Volvo 900 Series is a collection of executive cars manufactured by Volvo Cars in Sweden between 1990 and 1998 as a successor to the 700 Series. The range initially included the 960, which later became the Volvo S90 and V90, and the 940, which was renamed the 940 Classic. These models were the last rear-wheel-drive cars produced by Volvo until the introduction of the 2023 Volvo XC40. One noticeable change from the 700 to the 900 Series was the redesigned rear styling of the saloon models, while the estates remained visually similar.
