1998 – 2020 · Sweden

The Volvo V70 is an executive car produced by Volvo Cars from 1996 to 2016, spanning three generations. The model name reflects its essence, with 'V' symbolizing versatility and '70' indicating its position in the Volvo lineup in terms of platform size. The V70, larger than the V40 but smaller than the V90, caters to a niche in the executive car segment. The first generation of the Volvo V70 was introduced in November 1996, built on the P80 platform. This iteration offered both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with the AWD variant marketed as the V70 AWD. In September 1997, Volvo expanded the lineup by introducing a crossover model known as the V
