Weltmeister

Weltmeister, an ambitious player in the electric vehicle market, emerged from China's dynamic automotive landscape. Founded by Freeman Shen in 2015, the brand, whose name means "world champion" in German, was created under the umbrella of WM Motor Technology Co. Ltd. Shen, an industry veteran with prior stints at Volvo and Geely, envisioned a brand that would not only compete but excel in the burgeoning field of electric mobility. Weltmeister made its debut with the EX5, an all-electric SUV, in 2018. Designed to appeal to a tech-savvy audience, the EX5 set the tone for the brand’s commitment to affordability, intelligent technology, and robust performance, wrapped in a sleek, modern design. Today, Weltmeister continues to innovate in the electric vehicle sphere. Despite facing stiff competition, the brand has carved out a niche for itself with a growing lineup of models. These vehicles are celebrated for their integration of smart connectivity features and sustainable manufacturing practices. Weltmeister's continued expansion and commitment to electric vehicle technology reflect its ongoing journey towards becoming a noteworthy name in the global automotive industry.
