Wiesmann

Wiesmann, a distinguished name in the world of bespoke sports cars, combines German engineering prowess with the timeless appeal of classic British roadsters. Founded in 1988 by brothers Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann, the brand quickly made a name for itself with the introduction of the Wiesmann MF30 in 1993, a vehicle celebrated for its lightweight design and dynamic handling. This model set the stage for a series of highly regarded vehicles, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to luxury and performance. Despite facing financial challenges that led to a brief closure in 2014, Wiesmann was revitalized under new ownership by Roheen Berry of Contec Global. Today, Wiesmann is embracing the future of automotive technology with the launch of Project Thunderball, an all-electric sports car. This marks a significant shift for the brand, merging their traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to produce the world’s first all-electric, two-seater convertible. This new model signifies Wiesmann's commitment to innovation while maintaining the elegance and performance that have defined the brand for decades. With this bold step into the electric era, Wiesmann continues to chart a forward-thinking course in the luxury automotive industry.
