ZX

1999 – present · China

ZX Auto, officially known as Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Co., Ltd., is a Chinese automaker with a robust history that traces back to its inception in 1999. Founded in Baoding, Hebei, the company was established through a joint venture between Taiwan Unite Leading Co. and Hebei Tianye Automobile Group Co., Ltd. This collaboration set the stage for a brand focused on producing a range of vehicles, including passenger cars and, more predominantly, sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and trucks. The company quickly made its mark with the launch of its first vehicle, the ZX GrandTiger. This pickup truck resonated well in the market due to its robust build and reliability, characteristics that helped establish ZX Auto’s reputation both domestically and on the international stage. Today, ZX Auto continues to expand its footprint globally, exporting vehicles to several regions including the Middle East, South America, and Africa. Despite facing intense competition from both domestic and international car manufacturers, ZX Auto has maintained a steady presence in the market, largely due to its commitment to improving vehicle quality and investing in new technologies. The brand’s resilience and adaptability underscore its current successes as it navigates the complexities of the modern automotive industry.
