The 135is is the performance apex of the E82 coupe range, using a revised version of the turbocharged inline-six tuned to 324 hp and 430 Nm, with 0 to 100 km/h dispatched in 5.0 seconds. Produced from 2008 to 2013, it added sport-specific calibration, firmer suspension, and a more aggressive visual package over the standard 135i, serving as the closest the E82 came to a factory-built M performance coupe.
