The Toyota iQ is a compact city car manufactured by Toyota that was available in a single generation from 2008 to 2016 in Japan, from 2008 to 2015 in Europe, and from 2012 to 2015 in North America where it was sold as the Scion iQ. In Europe, there was also a rebadged version known as the Aston Martin Cygnet from 2011 to 2013. The iQ was designed at the Toyota European Design and Development studio in Nice, France, with a focus on innovative engineering to optimize passenger space while keeping the overall length minimized.
The iQ can seat four occupants, although one of the seats lacks legroom and is more suitable for smaller individuals
