Anyone got a source for mid fifties Chevy trim that is not eBay roulette? I have been burned twice now and I am running out of patience and money.

Chrome is a nightmare to keep and I love it anyway. New cars have no brightwork at all and they all look like kitchen appliances to me.
New member, Portland Oregon. Same Bel Air since 1998 and it is still not finished. I am told that is normal but I am starting to have doubts
Nothing on a fifties American car is metric and nothing is where a modern person would expect it. Depending on the day that is either charming or completely infuriating.
The Bel Air has been a rolling project since 1998. My wife stopped asking when it would be finished somewhere around 2009 and I have decided to count that as a win.
