Car Shows in Launceston

This year marks 60 years of the HR Holden. While some Tasmanian owners will attend the HD-HR Holden Nationals in Bathurst in early June, we're organizing a local gathering for those who can't travel. We're planning a Tasmanian reunion at the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania to celebrate this milestone. Before finalizing details, we need to know how many people want to join. Event Details. Date: Sunday, 25 October 2026 Time: 10am to 2pm Venue: National Automobile Museum of Tasmania, Launceston Open to all HD and HR Holden owners This is a casual meet-up with no judging or awards. It's simply a chance to celebrate 60 years and see these cars still on the road. Let us know if you're interested by Sunday, 10 May. If we get 40-50 people interested, we'll confirm the event in early June.

STREET MACHINE SUPERNATS TASMANIA Join us for 3 days of high-octane motorsport action. November 13-15, 2026 at Buckby Motors Symmons Plains Raceway. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event. Classic Car Show for Charity Shannons Insurance Tasmania is hosting a classic car show in Campbell Town to support the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. The event welcomes vehicles made between 1900 and 2026. Both club members and independent car enthusiasts can enter, with standard and customized vehicles accepted. Attendees are encouraged to bring non perishable food items to donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. The day includes free barbeque food, a raffle with prize draws, and awards for the best vehicles presented by Shannons and the Salvation Army. Arrive by 10:00am. The FX-FJ Holden Car Club Northwest Tasmania Chapter presents the 27th Early Holden National Titles. This multi-day event takes place in Latrobe, in Tasmania's northwest region. Day one includes registration and scrutineering, followed by a welcome barbeque in the evening. Day two features the Show & Shine competition with judging. Trade stands and food stalls operate throughout the day. Day three offers a touring drive, followed by a trophy presentation dinner in the evening.
