CIAO began in 2006/2007 from a group of Italian-vehicle enthusiasts in the Hunter Region and continues as a not-for-profit organisation. It caters for all Italian marques including cars, motorcycles, scooters and bicycles, offering historic registration and a calendar of monthly meetings, coffee runs, motor shows and the annual Lago Di Mac Italian Festival.
