Gorge Road

Name: Gorge Road
Address: Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia

By @drivesomeimages · Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia · Driving road

Gorge Road follows the River Torrens out of Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs and up into the Adelaide Hills. From Athelstone it winds through the Torrens Gorge between cliffs and rock cuttings, past the Kangaroo Creek Reservoir and on to Cudlee Creek. It is one of the city's favourite Sunday drives, and only 20 minutes from the suburbs. Loop back through Gumeracha, Lobethal or Norton Summit to make a morning of it.
