Lakeside International Raceway is a 2.41 km circuit at Kurwongbah, north of Brisbane, opened in 1961 beside Lake Kurwongbah. It hosted the Australian Touring Car Championship for four decades, Tasman Series rounds and Australian Grand Prix meetings, and its fast, flowing corners made it one of the most respected tracks in the country. Closed in 2001, it reopened in 2008 for club racing, sprints and track days.
