Texas Motorplex

Texas Motorplex is a quarter-mile drag strip in Ennis, Texas, built in 1986 by former funny car driver Billy Meyer as the sport's first all-concrete, stadium-style super track. It has repeatedly hosted record-setting NHRA runs and annually stages the NHRA Texas FallNationals, plus the TX2K street car festival and other concerts and motorsport events, with grandstand capacity around 50,000. The facility sits about 38 miles south of Dallas.
