Sydney does not have one big cars and coffee. It has a scatter of meets across a city that takes an hour to cross, and none of them advertise beyond their own Facebook group. This is the month on one page: the Sundays that are covered, the Saturdays that fill the gaps, and what each one is like.
The honest version first. Two Sunday mornings a month have no regular cars and coffee listed for Sydney yet, and this guide will not invent one. It gives you a drive for those weekends instead, and the Saturday meets are strong enough to carry the month. Dates and any changes are on each event's page, linked below, where you can RSVP and see who else is going.
First Sunday: open, so take the long way somewhere
Nothing regular is listed for the first Sunday of the month yet. Use it. The Old Pacific Highway north to Brooklyn is the classic Sydney morning run, and the road through the Royal National Park south to Bald Hill is the other. Both are done by 10am if you leave early. If you know a first-Sunday meet that belongs here, add it on Drivesome and it will make the next version of this guide.
First Saturday: Cars Under the Stars, Wetherill Park
The evening before, Greenway Wetherill Park hosts Cars Under the Stars from 5pm on the first Saturday of the month. It is a show and shine rather than a coffee meet: trophies, food, and things for the kids to do, which makes it the one to bring the family to. Bring the car, enter it, stay for dinner.

Second Sunday: open again, or Saturday night in the south-west
The second Sunday is the other open slot. If you want cars rather than a drive, do the Saturday night instead. Noodles Kebabs Cars Night runs on the second Saturday from 6pm at The Parkway Perk Cafe in Bradbury, near Campbelltown. The name is the whole pitch: food, cars, and a crowd that hangs around, which is what a warm Saturday in the south-west should be.

Third Sunday: Classic Cars and Coffee, Rouse Hill
This is Sydney's proper early one. Classic Cars and Coffee Rouse Hill runs on the third Sunday at Supercheap Auto Rouse Hill from 6:30am, free, with one rule: classics only, built before 1992. That covers muscle cars, sports cars, utes, hot rods and classic motorcycles, and it keeps the car park honest. It is hosted by the Regals Mopar Car Club, so expect a strong Chrysler contingent and a warm welcome for everything else.

Third Saturday: Surf Sand and Cars, Lakes Beach
The day before, the Central Coast has the best-located meet in the state. Surf Sand and Cars gathers at Lakes Beach in Budgewoi on the third Saturday from 8am, food and coffee on hand, with one instruction: bring your weekend car. It is about ninety minutes north of the city, which makes it a morning out rather than a quick coffee. Worth it.

Last Sunday: the drive to Berrima
The month ends with the one that is a run in itself. Cars and Coffee Southern Highlands meets at the south end of Berrima on the last Sunday of the month from 9am. The 9am start suits it: Berrima is a good hour and a half south-west of Sydney, so the meet begins after the drive down through the Highlands. Park up in the village, get a coffee, then take the back roads home.

Meet etiquette, briefly
Arrive in the first half hour. Park where you are pointed. No revving, no skids on the way out, ever: every one of these meets exists because a shopping centre, a cafe or a car park owner says yes each month, and one idiot is how that stops. Sydney has form for it. Take photos, talk to the owners, and post them on the car's page afterwards so the next person searching that car finds it.
Everything above, plus the one-off shows and track days that fill the rest of the calendar, is on the Sydney car events page. Follow the meets you like and their next dates land in your timeline. For the big weekends, read the biggest car events in Sydney, and if a meet leaves you wanting more, Sydney car clubs worth joining is the next step.
Questions people ask
Where is cars and coffee in Sydney?
Rouse Hill on the third Sunday morning is the main regular one. Saturdays add Wetherill Park on the first, Bradbury on the second and Lakes Beach on the Central Coast on the third, and there is a last-Sunday meet in Berrima for anyone who wants a drive with it.
What time do Sydney car meets start?
Early on Sundays: Rouse Hill is going from 6:30am and Berrima from 9am. The Saturday meets in the west are evening events from 5pm or 6pm, and Lakes Beach starts at 8am.
Do I need a classic car to go?
Only at Rouse Hill, which is for cars built before 1992. Every other meet on this list takes anything, and turning up in your daily to look is completely normal.
Are Sydney cars and coffee events free?
Rouse Hill is free with no admission charge. The others do not list a price on their pages, so check the event before you go, and buy a coffee from the host either way. That is what keeps the venue happy.
