Three years after the Grenadier stormed onto the scene as the spiritual successor to a 4x4 icon, INEOS Automotive has pushed the formula further. Meet the Trialmaster X: the new range-topping specification that combines the Grenadier's most capable off-road hardware with a genuinely premium interior, all in a single, no-nonsense package.
The Option List is Gone
The whole point of the Trialmaster X is that you don't have to think. INEOS has taken the rugged Trialmaster specification and layered in the comfort and refinement features of the Fieldmaster, delivering one complete, ready-for-anything build straight from the factory. No ticking boxes. No wondering what you missed.
It's available on both the five-door Station Wagon and the Quartermaster double-cab pick-up, priced from £75,195 and £75,010 respectively.

What You Actually Get
Off-road, the Trialmaster X means business. Front and rear locking differentials, BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tyres on 17-inch alloys, a raised air intake, and a 5,500kg integrated front winch. Safari windows, privacy glass, and a lockable spare wheel storage box round out the practical hardware.
Inside, the step up is real. Black or two-tone grey/black leather upholstery, heated front seats, a premium sound system, and carpet floor mats bring genuine day-to-day comfort to a vehicle built to handle the rough stuff. For those towing, a standard-fit tow ball backs a 7-tonne gross train weight.
Finished in Scottish White as standard, with Devil Red, Magic Mushroom, and Donny Grey as alternatives, the Trialmaster X also gets its own exclusive badging and a contrast roof in Inky Black or Scottish White

Why It Matters
The Grenadier was always about doing exactly what it said: a properly capable 4x4 built to last, without the fashion-vehicle pretence of so many rivals. The Trialmaster X sharpens that argument. For buyers who want the most capable Grenadier without the faff of configuring one, this is the answer.
INEOS CEO Lynn Calder put it plainly: the Trialmaster X is "the pinnacle all-rounder" built for those who want off-road toughness, premium comfort, and an intrepid spirit without compromise.
Three years in, INEOS isn't standing still. The Grenadier community just got a very compelling new conversation starter.
