Maserati Is Up to Something in Modena
Something is brewing at the House of the Trident. Maserati has confirmed that camouflaged prototypes of the GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale are actively being tested on public roads near their historic Modena plant.
Why Modena?
The region is a test driver's playground. City streets, hilly backroads, provincial routes and motorways all within reach, giving engineers the variety they need to chase down the fine details that separate a good car from a great one.

What Are They Testing?
Maserati isn't saying exactly what's changing. Professional test drivers are collecting real-world data to fine-tune the final setup of each model. When a brand wraps its current lineup in camo and sends it back out for serious development work, you pay attention.
The GranTurismo spans a V6 and the all-electric Folgore. The GranCabrio adds a drop-top Folgore. The Grecale runs hybrid or full electric. All three are conceived and built right there in Modena.
Something's Coming
Whether it's a refresh, powertrain updates or something bigger, Maserati isn't tipping their hand. But the cars are out and the engineers are watching every number.
