1986 – 1991

The Audi 80, a compact executive car produced by Audi under the Volkswagen Group, had four generations spanning from 1966 to 1996. Additionally, there were coupé and convertible models, which, though part of the range, used a variation of the same platforms. In North America and Australia, the Audi 80 had different nameplates such as the Audi Fox (1973–1979), Audi 4000 (1980–1987 in the USA), Audi 4000 5+5 (from 1981 in the USA), and Audi 5+5 (Australia, 1981–1983).
