The Audi Q5 is a line of compact luxury crossover SUVs manufactured by German luxury carmaker Audi since 2008. The debut model, the first-generation Q5 (Typ 8R), was part of the B8 family and shared the Audi MLB platform with the A5 and A4. In 2018, Audi introduced the second-generation Q5 (Typ 80A), which is built on the Audi MLB Evo platform also used in the B9 versions of the A4 and A5.
