Beijing

Beijing is a Chinese automotive brand associated with BAIC Group (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co.), one of China's largest state-owned vehicle manufacturers, with roots tracing back to the late 1950s. The brand has historically been linked to off-road and utility vehicles, most notably the BJ series, which includes the BJ 2020, a rugged body-on-frame 4x4 that draws lineage from the original Beijing Jeep joint venture era and continues to be sold as a no-frills workhorse. The Henrey Automobile Technology name on record suggests a connection to a technology or engineering subsidiary within the broader BAIC ecosystem, though it does not correspond to a widely recognized standalone consumer marque. Beijing-branded vehicles are sold primarily in the Chinese domestic market, positioned toward buyers seeking durable, utilitarian machines rather than premium or performance-oriented products.
