The Buick Electra was a full-size luxury car produced by Buick from 1959 to 1990, spanning six generations. Initially replacing the Roadmaster lines, the Electra became Buick's flagship sedan offering, available in various body styles including two-door sedan, convertible, four-door sedan, and station wagon. The car initially used GM's rear-drive C Platform but was significantly downsized in 1977. The Electra underwent another substantial downsizing for its sixth generation in 1985.
