The BYD Qin is a range of compact and mid-size sedans manufactured by BYD Auto since 2012. Originally introduced as the plug-in hybrid version of the BYD Surui, the Qin made its debut in the Chinese market in August 2012. Over time, the Qin lineup has expanded to include plug-in hybrid (PHEV), battery electric vehicle (BEV), and previously an internal combustion engine (ICE) models, offering a variety of choices for consumers. The BYD Qin serves as the successor to the BYD F3DM, which was the world's first mass-produced plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and was launched in China in 2008. In April 2012, BYD
