The Ford Taurus is a full-size car manufactured by Ford in China through the Changan Ford joint venture, serving the Chinese and Middle Eastern markets. Despite sharing the same name as the American model produced from 1986 to 2019, this version was developed collaboratively with Ford Australia. Production occurs at the Hangzhou facility of Changan Ford, with exports starting in 2020 to the Middle East, replacing the American version. Based on the Ford CD4 platform, the Chinese Ford Taurus model differs from its American equivalent by increasing the wheelbase by 3.9 inches (9.9 cm) compared to the Ford Fusion/Ford Mondeo.
