Chevrolet Corvette C2 Convertible

The C2 Convertible offered open-air driving in the Sting Ray generation while sharing the coupe's body-on-frame chassis and available engine lineup, which ranged from a base 327 cubic inch small-block V8 to the high-performance 427 cubic inch big-block introduced for 1966. Unlike the split-window coupe of 1963, the convertible carried a conventional rear window treatment and could be ordered with a removable hardtop as a factory option. It remained the more popular body style across the generation's five-year run.
